Bhutan Airlines (Tashi Air), Bhutan’s first private airline operates seven days a week flight from Bangkok to Paro via Kolkata, India and return and 6 flights (except on Friday) to Kathmandu and return.

There are also two gateways through the border of India. You can either enter Bhutan through Phuntsholing, the main trade city located in southern Bhutan or Samdrup Jongkhar located in the south eastern of Bhutan. Usually travellers will travel to Bhutan through Samdrup Jongkhar if they plan to visit the Eastern Bhutan region such as Trashigang, Mongar, Lhuentse and Trashiyangtse.
